Telejornalismo e meio ambiente na Amazônia: a qualidade da cobertura de eventos ambientais e seu papel social no Amazonas

Abstract

The Amazon is an inexhaustible source of multidisciplinary knowledge that leads to scientific analysis. In this scenario, it is necessary to launch the populations that live in the forest in the region that is considered tropical in the world. The historically constructed social representations of the Amazon work as possibilities for the relationships of people who are in them, with an environmental problem. In turn, the communicational theme of the perspective appears as a geographic geographic that transposes the reach of the media that circulate and the region, especially the television media. On the other hand, note the need for an essentially social journalistic work that seeks to reach and provide citizens with information and give them the necessary knowledge to make assertive decisions about environmental issues. Based on journalism analysis studies of 2021, the present research aims to analyze the quality of telejournalistic environmental coverage in Amazonas by TV A Crítica, in 2021. Rodriguez (2015). By actively participating in the events involved in each article, it was possible to map the quality of coverage of Amazonian environments in a multidisciplinary perspective.
