Resumo

In the Alto Solimões floodplain ecosystems, the work carried out by the farming families has provided many benefits to the local population, among them "conservation of agrobiodiversity", "food security" and the construction of mathematical knowledge by empirical processes. Based on these findings, this study aimed to develop an educational material based on ethnomathematics built recursively in the daily work of family agroecosystems. For the design of the research, the theoretical approach of the systemic complexity dialectic was adopted. The Case Study was developed as a field study design with the application of direct observation techniques, interviews, photographic records, field diaries and mental mapping. The study revealed that the realization of the different types of family work of the locality depends on the rhythm of the waters, caused by the phenomenon denominated flood pulse. In this context, it was observed that when interacting with the spatial and temporal dynamics of the floodplain ecosystems, families acquire the environmental domain, a fundamental element for re / construction of local mathematical knowledge. Another factor evidenced was the concern shown by family farmers regarding the fate of the community. They believe that if children and young people lose interest in inheriting their parents' work culture, it is possible that in a short time, around 20 years, they will not have enough and adequate workforce to carry out the conservation of agrobiodiversity. Based on these findings, the educational product called "Mathematics of Mathematical Knowledge" was constructed and applied in the teaching of the São José Community School, located in the municipality of Benjamin Constant, state of Amazonas, with the aim of contributing to learners can reflect and value their work cultures, share new mathematical immaterialities, and thus be able to conquer future improvements to families, other communities and the environmental system.
