Resumo
This research, which has as its theme “The social imaginary of educational agents on the management of natural resources for sustainable rural development: the case of the Nossa Senhora das Graças community in Costa da Conceição Itacoatiara/AM, is important because it is a socio-environmental theme and educational experience in a riverside community. Knowing the social imaginary of teachers and other educational agents at Escola Estadual Anília Nogueira da Silva about sustainable rural development is essential to provide improvements in the management of practices for the appropriate use of land and natural resources, for the conservation of biodiversity, for the reduction poverty and for the readjustment of curriculum and pedagogical practices that take into account the needs of the riverside community in question. In this context, the scientific hypotheses are:What is the social imaginary of educational agents in the Nossa Senhora das Graças Community, in Costa da Conceição/Itacoatiara, regarding the rural development of the community? Considering the wealth of natural resources in the Nossa Senhora das Graças Community, on Costa da Conceição, what is the role of the school in terms of sustainable rural development in this community? The research has the general objective of: Analyzing the social imaginary of educational agents at the Anília Nogueira da Silva State School, located in the Nossa Senhora das Graças Community, in Costa da Conceição/Itacoatiara, regarding the management of natural resources and the school's activities. in sustainable rural development. The specific objectives are: To characterize socioeconomically the community members of the Nossa Senhora das Graças Community in Costa da Conceição; Identify the perception of teachers working at the Anília Nogueira da Silva State School in the Nossa Senhora das Graças Community, Costa da Conceição/Itacoatiara, on the management of natural resources in the sustainable rural development of the community and Identify the role of the school in sustainable rural development in the Community Our Lady of Graces in Costa da Conceição/Itacoatiara. The methodology approached the qualitative perspective of the case study type. The documentary analysis was carried out in the document guiding the actions defined by the institution and its school community, which is the Political-Pedagogical Project, and provided an overview of how the school relates to the socio-environmental context, with the management of the community's natural resources and how it can contribute to sustainable rural development in the community in which it is located, as in this community there is interactivity with the school and there is a great potential for natural resourcesAs for the expected impacts in the area of knowledge, environmental and social, this study can contribute to the construction of individual and collective knowledge and the creation of human, technical, cultural and political capabilities that allow the rural, riverside population to act to transform and improve their living conditions.
