Resumo
Amid one of the epicenters of the Covid-19 pandemic in Brazil, this scientific research analyzed the Architecture and Urbanism Course at the Faculty of Technology in the Federal University of Amazonas (FT/UFAM) and the formation of Architect and Urbanist in a pandemic scenario. The investigation that gave body to this dissertation dealt with the influence(s) of political decision-making at the federal, state, municipal and institutional levels in the formation of the architect and urbanist of UFAM during the pandemic and the relationship between training an architect in an atypical period. Considering this, the problem of this research is based on trying to understand how and what were the political measures taken by the direction of the Faculty of Technology (FT) and the Coordination of the architecture and urbanism course towards the course in the pandemic scenario? Therefore, the questions that guide the research are: How was the training process of the architect and urbanist at UFAM during the Covid-19 pandemic? What decisions were made, in terms of training, by the university and the collegiate of the architecture and urbanism course during the pandemic? In view of the above, the general objective of the research is to understand how the formation of the architect and urban planner took place within UFAM, between 2020 and 2022, in an atypical scenario. The specific objectives of this research are: a) to characterize the political-institutional measures taken by UFAM during the pandemic; b) analyze the decision-making of the collegiate of architecture and urbanism course in the face of the pandemic period; and c) understand the resurgence of discussions related to the teaching of architecture and urbanism in the distance learning modality and the emergency measure of remote teaching, based on the positions of class and teaching entities. Based on the current scenario, the research seeks to present analyzed bibliographic and documental data, through a Documental Inventory and Integrative Literature Review (RLI) as the methodological design, permeating structured and reflective actions that will guide the probable discussions for paths or deviations around of post-pandemic architect and urban planner training.
