Resumo
This study aimed to evaluate the effect of aeration
additional artificial about the performance and economic viability
Tambaqui cultivation (macropomum Colossoma) System without flow
followed by water. In design for independent samples was used
8 semi-excavated ponds of 0.32 ha populated with 5,000 juveniles
tambaqui with average initial weight of 11.8 ± 8.0 and ± 3,02g 3,1cm long
pattern. The treatments were: T1 - 4 semi-excavated ponds
endowed with aerator 1.0 CV power surface spray
operating at night between 18:00 and 06: 00hs; and T2 - 4 semiescavados nurseries
devoid of artificial aeration. The experiment lasted
120 days. husbandry variables of final average weight were evaluated gain
weight, feed conversion and survival. They were also
conducted analysis of the cost of production and profitability, cash flow and
determining the net present value of indicators, internal rate of
return, payback period of capital and sensitivity analysis with variation
economic scenarios selling price and production volume. There was
significant difference (p <0.05) in the productive performance of
animals among treatments. Still, improvements were verified in
aeration treatment, so that the average final weight was 345.20 ± 84.78
and treatment T2 268,67g ± 87.60. The feed conversion in
was more efficient in the treatment with supplementary artificial aeration
(T1), and 0.89 while the control treatment (T2) was 1.19. At
economic evaluation, the value of net present - NPV, internal rate of return
- IRR and capital recovery period - Pay Back, also presented
better performance when using additional artificial aeration
