Resumo
Professional training in Social Work is one of the main pillars for a critical, complex and contradictory profession. However, we have few studies in relation to other Southeast and South States on the particularities and specificities of the theoretical-methodological perspectives present in the Brazilian Renewal Process. Therefore, this study analyzed the main theoretical-methodological perspectives present in the Course Conclusion Papers of students from the Social Work Course at the Federal University of Amazonas and their proximity, or distance, to the aspects of Social Work renewal in Brazil. To do so, it identified the concepts of Social Work and Social Issue present in the Course Conclusion Works. It reflected on the main authors used and their respective theoretical connections in the construction of the TCCs. It investigated the main methodological perspectives used to carry out the research. The methodological path included a bibliographic and documentary study of 10 TCC's produced at UFAM between 2015 and 2019. This study revealed that these TCC's are linked to a Perspective of Intention to Rupture, as there are still elements of Traditional Social Service, however, there are predominance of critical, dynamic and contradictory elements on the conceptions of Social Work and Social Issue present in these TCC's. In addition to an uncompromising defense of workers' rights according to theoretical and methodological support (ABEPSS Training Project and UFAM Pedagogical Project of 2009), ethical-political (Profession Regulation Law of 1993 and Code of Ethics of 1993) and technical-operative. It is also worth mentioning that these TCC's defend the Teaching-Research-Extension tripod.
