Proposta de um dashboard para análise e visualização de dados educacionais de Sistemas Tutores Inteligentes

Abstract

This dissertation proposes the creation of the Edudata Visualizer dashboard, aimed at analyzing and visualizing educational data from Intelligent Tutoring Systems (ITSs). To achieve this goal, we employed data visualization techniques, statistics, and Educational Data Mining (EDM) in an ITS specifically developed for teaching algebra. The purpose was to extract useful information from this data, providing support to teachers in the educational decision-making process. Using the Knowledge Discovery in Databases methodology and through the development of a web dashboard, we aimed to create a useful and intuitive tool for analyzing and interpreting educational data. The results obtained were positive, as evidenced by two evaluations conducted using the System Usability Scale (SUS) technique with a total of 43 teachers. These results demonstrated a promising performance of the tool in the educational context, highlighting its potential to provide important data that can inform and enrich teaching practices.
