Uma abordagem colaborativa para o ensino de cálculo diferencial e integral

Resumo

The Differential and Integral Calculus subject is one of the subjects with one of the highest non-approval rates, due to this high rate, new methodologies and theories have been sought in order to improve the teaching and learning process. Thus, this research proposes to investigate the methodological intervention in a discipline of Differential and Integral Calculus. To this end, collaborative learning was used for its potential to promote more active learning through stimulation. We used Vygotsky’s cultural-historical theory as a reference in the perspective of supporting the process of interaction made by the group, monitor and teacher in relation to the learning process. The research has a qualitative and quantitative approach, the method that was used is the case study. For data analysis we used Bardin’s content analysis techniques, content analysis is a communication analysis technique, which will analyze what was said in interviews, in questionnaires or observed by the researcher. The research was carried out at the Federal University of Amazonas, in the Computer Engineering course, in the first period of 2020, in the Differential and Integral Calculus I discipline. Likewise, it was carried out in the Software Engineering course, in the second period of 2020 , also in the Differential and Integral Calculus I course. In the results it was possible to conclude that the collaborative approach allowed a reduction in the numbers of non-approved, in addition, we found that our approach contributes to the learning of the contents of Differential and Integral Calculus.
