Impacto da pandemia de COVID-19 em programas institucionalizados de extensão universitária

Resumo

OBJECTIVE: To analyze the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on institutionalized university outreach programs. METHOD: This was a descriptive, exploratory, qualitative study at the Faculty of Physical Education and Physiotherapy (FEFF) of the Federal University of Amazonas. The study sample consisted of three teachers who coordinated the physical activities of the FEFF programs. Data was collected using individual interviews with open-ended questions about the actions of the managers of the institutionalized outreach programs during the COVID-19 pandemic. The qualitative data was organized and analyzed using Content Analysis, constituting the corpus of the research, which received analytical treatment using NVivo 10 software, and the results were presented in a summary table. RESULTS: It was possible to extract three thematic categories from the corpus: active methodologies, information and communication technology, and welcoming. CONCLUSION: It can be concluded that the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on institutionalized university extension programs at the Faculty of Physical Education and Physiotherapy, Federal University of Amazonas, was characterized as welcoming pedagogical actions through the use of virtual information and communication technologies during the COVID-19 pandemic, configuring the pedagogical reinvention through the use of information and communication technology and active methodologies.
