Quem sou eu? O discurso social de Chico da Silva

Abstract

This research has as its theme "Who am I? The social discourse of Chico da Silva ", from a theoretical perspective focused on the Bakhtinian line of research, aims to characterize the existing themes in the social discourse assumed by Chico da Silva in his compositions of Brazilian popular music, identifying the predominant themes, as well as The analysis of the songs that present a social discourse and in which context it was composed. In the same way, the identification of the dialogues in which the author establishes with statements of other composers about themes related to solitude, the city, the caboclo, the sertanejo, the social problems. The relevance of this research, focused on the artistic production of Chico da Silva, can contribute in the most diverse areas of study.
