O trabalho do assistente social na área empresarial: os desafios da atualidade no Pólo Industrial de Manaus

Abstract

This recent dissertation talks about the transformations produced in the working world because of the productive re-framework process of the capital occurred since 1990 in Brazil, and the impacts which these alterations caused in the Social Assistant workers who act in Manaus entrepreneurs area in Industrial Manaus Polo - IMP. This research relied on the characterization of the working process of the Social Service professional from IMP, identifying the institutional dispute and the professional attributions introduced by the producing logic post restructure productive; and before the conditions and the working relationship revealed, the possibility of making permanent the ethical-political project was analized. This qualitative research which was accomplished with six Social Service professionals of the companies in under-sectors from the Industrial Electronic and Two Wheel Polo of Manaus IPM (PIM) revealed that these professionals have to deal with entrepreneurs demands, with the working intensification, with the polyvalence and with the lack of resources available to Social Assistant workers. As to the imposed institutional demands, these are directed to a professional action that soften the workers problems in order to avoid the damages to the entrepreneur profits and productivity. In this sense, the current scientific job exposes that the Social Assistant workers from the IMP (PIM), have in this occupational space many challenges to make permanent the profession Ethic-Political project which need to be transposed mainly through the theoretical-methodological knowledge, of the instrumental technical-operante domain and through the Ethic-Political commitment.
