Resumo
Sciences are interconnected since their origins since natural sciences originate from
Natural Philosophy and this one from Philosophy. Within this context, the emergence of
the new interdisciplinary field of Environmental Sciences leads us to reflect on the
interconnection that exists between the parts, reminding us that as a species we are a part
of a whole. Thus, we sought to contextualize the Teaching of Physics, more specifically
Mechanics, in the Teaching of Environmental Sciences. This work aimed to develop
pedagogical scripts based on the use of low-cost teaching materials for the teaching of
physics in an interdisciplinary perspective, contextualizing its concepts in environmental
knowledge, to provide an understanding of the phenomena associated with culture, using
practice as motivating tool for learning the Natural Sciences. The research was
characterized as a qualitative approach, with a descriptive and analytical purpose based
on bibliographic, documentary and action research. The action research was conducted
during the development of experiments in which the teacher/researcher represented a real
situation to be investigated, proposing a participatory and collaborative activity to be
applied to 1st year students of technical courses in Agriculture, Informatics, and
Integrated Administration to IFAM/CSGC High School. As a result, two proposals for
contextualized practice and the production of Manual of Experiments were reached. The
phenomena explored were those of free fall and projectile launching, using elements of
the cultural and environmental reality of the students as an integrating element: the fall
of fruits of native species contextualized the first experiment. In the second, the throwing
of darts propelled by the blow of the blowgun was brought, an ancient and traditional tool
of indigenous peoples all over the planet, including among the ethnic groups of the Alto
Rio Negro region, where the municipality of São Gabriel da Cachoeira is located. It is
intended that the manual produced becomes an aid instrument in the teaching of
mechanics, which helps teachers from the Amazon region in their classes to facilitate the
understanding of Scalar Kinematics by students in the discipline of Physics of High
School, which can be reproduced, improved, or serve as a basis for future classroom
practices.
