Resumo
The research deals with a thesis study about the corporeity of the fishermen who work in the Coronel Jorge Teixeira Fair, known as the Manaus Moderna Fair, located in the Center-South zone of the city of Manaus-Am. Against the background of the fair, it is understood that the profession of fishmen belongs to one of the segments of that trade, which contributes to the economy of the capital. In this direction, the present study is justified, because it allows the recognition of the elements of the corporeity evidenced in the professional practice of these subjects, as well as the processes of production and mobilization of their knowledge. In this sense, to demonstrate the corporeity of the fishmen, is to understand how these subjects perform their work; it is above all to demonstrate that work activities manifest themselves in their movements, since they present practices, skills and techniques reflected in their bodies. Therefore, this study sought to analyze and describe how the work developed by fishmongers demonstrates body practice and identifies its corporeity, since they include aesthetic, visual and tactile aspects. The research is based on the methodological procedure of nature and with a qualitative and ethnographic approach, where the researcher conducted semi-structured interviews. In addition to the reading and the study to contemplate the theoretical basis, records, in loco observation, besides the questionnaire as methodological instruments based on body and body, a way of evidencing the corporeal elements of the fishmongers
