Resumo
This master0 thesis presents the result of a survey realized with ninth-year students at São José Operário State School, based on the intervention proposal entitled, “The daily life of Parintins and the creative process in Art teaching”, which investigated and experimented some teaching methodologies and pedagogical practices that advocate the importance of inserting themes and images related to the student's daily life during Art classes, including their repertoire in the teaching and learning process, recognizing their daily life as a link between the theory of Art and artistic practices. For the foundation of the research, an approach was made in the learning theories of Barbosa, Vigotiski, and Freire and a study of the conceptions of Heller and Dewey about the student's daily life and experience. The present research is of a qualitative nature with the collection of data made from the bibliographical research and the action research in which the researcher participated directly in all stages of the process. As an intervention proposal, the exploration of everyday spaces was made with image capture, using the cellphone as a didactic resource, with the aim of allowing the student to experiment pedagogical practices which build a relationship between their everyday life and their artistic work. This activity was intended to encourage student participation in practical classes, leading them to awaken a taste for practical classes based on the use of different techniques of artistic production. It is hoped the result of this research will be included in the sources of research on methodologies and pedagogical practices in Art teaching, intensifying Art as scientific knowledge necessary for the integral development of the human being.
