Fauna e flora no jogo poético de Ferreira Gullar em A luta corporal (1954) e Em alguma parte alguma (2010)

Abstract

The study denominated Fauna e Flora no jogo poético de Ferreira Gullar em A luta corporal (1954) e Em alguma parte alguma (2010) identifies some recurring images in the poetry of the author José Ribamar Ferreira, images accompanied by a strong synesthetic content, that brings the reader to the poetic moment and to the experiences lived by him in other moments of his life. It is noticed that the recurrence images question the lyrical subject about existence, awareness of life and imminent death; in addition, the images of fauna and flora dialogue with political and social issues and with episodes of history, marked by the fight against dictatorships, among other social conflicts. Poetry and the poet are highlights in the poetic content of the two books in question: the poet's cry is a necessary message for the “new” to happen in the world, just as the rooster's cry carries the mandatory message of the new dawn. The main focus of studies on existence will be the book O Ser e o Tempo (1936), by Jean Paul Sartre and O Existencialismo é um Humanismo (1946). In relation to the socio-political nature of the images of fauna and flora, the work Notas de literature I (1958), by Theodor Adorno, as well as the book Poesia & Utopia – Sobre a função social da poesia e do poeta (2007) ), by Carlos Felipe Moisés. The works O ser e tempo da poesia (1982), by Alfredo Bosi, and O arco e a lira (1977), by Otávio Paz will be relevant in all points of the research, especially with regard to the imagery content in poetry and the poetic creation. In addition, Ferreira Gullar's essay, Sobre arte sobre poesia (uma luz do chão), from 2006, and the poet's interviews with newspapers and art and literature events will contribute to the present work.
