Preservação digital e “divulgação” científica na Amazônia

Abstract

This dissertation refers to the scientific diffusion processes through social media, articulated by the academic and scientific development in the State of Amazonas. The locus for this research is the New Social Cartography of the Amazon Project. I sought to develop a discussion about different approaches in scientific literature, regarding social media, discussing concepts such as “network”, highlighting data obtained through traffic reports collected from platforms. My objective was to demonstrate the extent of scientific diffusion through technologies pertinent to scientific development related to Amazonas. I carried out a detailed analysis of classifiers of the intellectual and scientific production, pointing out the social media platforms and the modes of access to the information produced in the academic field.
