Resumo
The work presents a feasibility study of the development of products made from seeds and vegetable fibers, configured in a notebook stand from a composite made with acai, castor-based polyol and prepolymer. Acai seeds are solid waste generated and discarded during the acai production chain in the state of Amazonas and the use of this material in the elaboration of the composite proposed here, aims to use natural resources responsibly in order to meet the needs of the present. Without compromising the healthy life of future generations. Therefore, this research considers the application of ecodesign and social design in the project activity, which articulate concepts of alternative technologies to arrive at a sustainable design methodology employed in a notebook support project. In the development of this support will be verified its technical feasibility, general aspects, as for example: simplified manufacture and ease of use, considering the feasible possibility the study can be replicated in cooperatives or local productive arrangements, providing a possible source of income generation. Virtue of regional development. The use of waste from the acai production chain will contribute to the reduction of environmental impacts where this research concentrates a close relationship with sustainable design and its aspects.
