Resumo
The teaching of Biology presents in the classroom the same methodology of learning based on expository classes, applications of tests that evaluate the student's memorization, within a content unlinked to the reality of the student. It is a challenge in contemporary times for the teacher to think of methodologies that help for efficient learning in the face of new professional demands, arising from educational policies. The Digital Trail Game resource developed in the presentation creation/editing program (PowerPoint), emerges as a methodological proposal of mediation for a contextualized teaching of Biology, working with the subject of Ecological Relations, within the theme of Ecology. The technological instrument employs regional elements exemplified with scientific research carried out within the Amazon territory, through Research Institutions such as INPA, MUSA and IDSM-Mamirauá. The approach is based on Vygotsky's learning theory of the Zone of Proximal Development. The implementation of the technological resource and the application of data collection instruments made it possible to verify the learning of conceptual knowledge and the development of cognitive skills such as interaction, reasoning and strategy. In addition, students expressed interest in the teaching model through digital games, which provides serious content learning, but endowed with dynamic characteristics that a game has.
