Resumo
This study assumes the proposal to unveil the symbolic space of the forest rubber as an expression of sociability and immaterial representation quotidian living, without abandon the registration of political resistance of rubber tappers in the Amazon, specifically those residing in Tefé, Amazonas. The theme forest rubber is taken in this study not only as a place of economic exploitation, but, and above all, as the place of experience, parties, the imaginary scenario of people who make history this territory of the waters. The living is perceived through the narrations of the subjects as the place where he was the individual and collective experience involving festivals, beliefs, emotions, of the life, work. Our intention was to seek to know how the subjectivity of the tapper occurred amid the oppressive hardships of the forest rubber. The methodology of the memory is assumed here in relation to the forest rubber and experience the city of Teffe, considering the process of geographical displacement. The trail took methodological contribution of qualitative approaches, especially with regard to the narrative, the narrator is invited to talk about their experience of life lived in the Amazonian rubber. Among the many aspects revealed patent is the fact that the rubber tappers survived the deadly diseases like malaria, yellow fever, typhoid, beriberi, faced attack ounces hungry, poisonous snakes as surucucurana, jararaca, peak jackfruit. Elicited the fact that they gave blood to enrich the country produced wealth, but did not have access to them, were abandoned by the Brazilian state. Today, poor, blind, living in shacks on the outskirts of Teffe. These tappers already quite ill, living with the plight of the hero without reward, completely forgotten by the Brazilian state, seems to be waiting for death to come to leave the scene. None of the seven rubber ears in this research receives the retirement benefit as a soldier of the rubber, which is a debt of the Brazilian state that urgently needs to be rescued, while these brave tappers still has life.
