Estratégias para a inclusão de alunos com deficiência nas aulas de educação física: um estudo de caso no município de Lábrea

Resumo

This research deals with the inclusion of students with disabilities in Physical Education classes at a high school (1st to 3rd year), in the municipality of Lábrea, south of Amazonas. Its objective is to identify the strategies used by Physical Education teachers to include a student with disabilities in their classes, and to develop an Educational Product. Initially, a data survey was carried out to identify high schools and the number of students with disabilities (physical, visual, intellectual and auditory) enrolled and attending classes in regular schools in the municipality of Lábrea, after this survey the choice was made of our sample. The research is characterized as a case study in which the following instruments were used: a semi-structured interview with the Physical Education teacher (open and closed questions about his academic background and inclusion of students with disabilities in regular classes), adapted (SOUZA, 2008), which was recorded in audio and later transcribed, to carry out content analysis (BARDIN, 1977). The filming of 03 classes was taken at a wide angle to capture a broad image of the activities carried out (before the Training). No particular student was focused on, the images were of the whole. This instrument involved observing student participation in classes, school context variables and teacher behavior. For observation, three sets of information were considered: general identification, identification of the conditions under which the observation occurred, and recording of behaviors and environmental circumstances (DANNA, 2011). The results of this research indicate that the peer tutor's assistance techniques can be used by Physical Education/PE teachers as a possible strategy to include students with disabilities in high school classes. The Educational Product resulting from this research is an Extension Course for using the Colleague Tutor strategy that can be accessed in the UFAM, ProEF and IFAM repository.
