Resumo

The present thesis analyzes the formation of the AGROUFAM environmental network, a result of the demands of family agriculture, based on extension and research projects of the Socioeconomics Nucleus in Amazonian communities, and the articulation, mobilization and social organization of social subjects, and artisans, researchers and researchers, around the creation of spaces of socialization between people, institutions and other segments involved with family production, aiming at valuing not only small-scale production and cultural heritage linked to it, but also to a positive dynamics of production in line with the logic of sustainability in its various dimensions. The approach taken to obtain the information to the research, was the approach of multimethods, from the perspective of qualitative research. The systematization was done with the information present in technical-scientific reports, documentary research, observation in thematic events and meetings of the AGROUFAM environmental network. The analyzes of the research were made based on the contextualization of the chosen categories, proceeding the descriptive, theoretical and interpretative analysis of the information. The results of the research reveal how the creation of marketing spaces for family agriculture and handicrafts, encouraging the cultivation and consumption of agroecological products, within the framework of the AGROUFAM environmental network, are relevant in the effort to instigate researchers, consumers or public managers to to observe them in order to see what is behind the fact of buying and selling products, but in their interfaces and diverse relationships that permeate these spaces. The principles governing the AGROUFAM environmental network are based on solidarity economy, aiming at generating income for family farmers, based on agroecological principles, sustainable development, food and nutritional security, technological innovation and university extension. Besides, it allows to be a space of socialization between people, institutions and other followings involved with family agriculture. In addition, it is an opportunity to stimulate the exchange of knowledge among women farmers, farmers, artisans and artisans, the academic community and other institutions.
