Resumo
This project has as its general objective "To analyze how a methodology that uses interdisciplinarity as a strategy could contribute to the improvement of the study of Energy in the Human Body; part of the following scientific problem "How could a Methodology, with interdisciplinary strategy of Physics and Biology, contribute to the improvement of the study of Energy in the human body?"; who referred us to the following guiding questions: 1) What research uses interdisciplinarity to study energy in the human body?; 2) What interdisciplinary methodological proposal could be designed for the study of Energy in the Human Body?; 3) What interdisciplinary strategies are being used by physics and biology teachers in the classroom?; 4) How could the proposal drawn contribute to the interdisciplinary study of Energy in the human body?; and that to do so we have the following specific objectives: 1) Identify that research uses interdisciplinarity aimed at the study of Energy in the Human Body; 2) To design a methodological proposal that uses interdisciplinarity for the study of Energy in the Human Body;3) To survey the use or not of interdisciplinarity as a didactic strategy by physics and biology teachers; 4) Analyze how the proposal drawn could contribute to the study of Energy in the Human Body; which will be carried out in four moments: At first, an initial survey was conducted through a bibliographic research; at the second moment, a methodology was designed that used as a teaching strategy the interdisciplinarity of Physics and Biology for the study of Energy in the Human Body. in the third moment, we surveyed the use of interdisciplinarity or not as a didactic strategy by physics and biology teachers; and in the fourth moment, the methodological proposal designed to analyze its effectiveness to the study of Energy in the Human Body was implemented; for data collection, an initial interview of open questions with teachers was used and in the fourth moment a final interview with teachers and an initial and final structured questionnaire with students before and after Implementation. To verify learning, an initial and final evaluation was performed in each of the three activities; and the processing of the data was through: 1) Content Analysis and Categorization for open question interviews; 2) Statistical Analysis, using the Likert scale for structured questionnaires and use of the Excel program for the construction of graphs and interpretation of students' responses in questionnaires; 3) Frame of association of ideas, for cross-analysis, 4) Effect Size of Cohen theory (d) to measure the degree of significance. It brings as scientific contribution the design of an interdisciplinary proposal for use in the classroom. The justification of this research is in the interest of improving the quality of teaching; contribution with an interdisciplinary application strategy to the study of energy in the human body; and provide discussions for new research and didactic-pedagogical proposals. Thus we argue that "An interdisciplinary strategy of Physics and biology can contribute significantly to the study of energy in the human body", and the results that we hope to achieve is that the methodology designed contributes to the process of teaching-learning of Physics and biology.
