História ecológica e a ocupação humana nas rochas do entorno da cidade de São Gabriel da Cachoeira-AM

Abstract

The dynamic process of human occupation has been transforming environments over the years. Human beings through work have transformed environments to meet their needs for survival and also make profits. The theme of this dissertation is to deal with these environmental changes. The objective was to analyze the Ecological History and Human Occupation in the Rocks Surrounding the City of São Gabriel da Cachoeira-AM, articulating history teaching strategies in the high school of IFAM with the production of an environmental rationality. It is a qualitative exploratory research whose central elements for the analysis and validation of the data are the subjects' speeches and their perceptions about the researched landscape. As a theoretical and methodological basis we have the studies of Edgar Morin (2005) and Enrique Leff (2010), both important to understand the dimensions of environmental complexity. The subjects of the research were the teachers of Geography, Sociology, Philosophy, Biology, History, Pedagogues, director of IFAM and 40 students of Technical High School of the Administration course of IFAM-CSGC. The instruments used for data collection were: photographic images, questionnaire, semi-structured interviews, participant and non-participant observation. From the perspective of understanding the environmental, interdisciplinary, intercultural dimensions that was developed as a result / final product of this research, a dynamics guide to understand the human occupation in the rocks around the city of São Gabriel da Cachoeira-AM, with the purpose of assisting teachers from different areas of knowledge in proposing new teaching and learning dynamics that dialogue the environment with the theory learned in the classroom.
