Lugar e memória: o velho e a imagem da cidade Manaus-AM

Abstract

The city as a research object has its importance , being seen as a set of lived perceptions and established from seizures, valuations , collective behavior decisions. We cover categories such as place and perception, through past memories of old who attend the State of the Elderly Centre - Aparecida . The research is guided by the phenomenological perspective , being used an interview script , it was possible to rescue the city of Manaus through memory and perception of the subjects that were lived and experienced by those who made it their place . Thus here the place was understood by those who live in it. Although every time reframing with the place is given the changes that mark the passage of doing life that are made through childhood , adolescence , adulthood will of aging. With this study we build the city of Manaus through memory and perception of old.
