Resumo

The research aims at analyzing the socio-cultural and political changes in living in riverine traditional communities with the creation of the Forest State of the Maués Maués / AM municipality. In contemporary times is growing and gaining centrality theoretical debates about the environmental issue. Surge, thus the need to reflect on the model of social change and technical and its implications on the ways of use and appropriation of natural resources. Study the changes occurred in the modus vivendi of the traditional riverside communities in UC's is a very relevant and contemporary theme. Regarding the academic and scientific relevance of the work, this is expressed in this study by: 1) production of new knowledge about the modus vivendi of traditional communities Amazon; 2) ability to receive quality training to work with the people Amazonian; 3) subsidies from production of opportunity for policy formulation Environmental consider traditional communities as an active agent; 4) contribution to the debate in different forums at regional, national and international on that theme. The study appears as a case study analytical part, in which three forms have been defined methodological steps different, but interrelated and complement each other, namely: Phase I: Preliminary - execution of preliminary procedures to the implementation phase actual research, with the following activities: literature review; institutional contacts; definition of the research subjects, documentary research along the institutions; preparation of data collection instruments; signing of the Term Consent by the community leader; approval of the project by the CEP. Phase II: Field research - data collection through institutional visits for application interview; presentation of the research project with group approach techniques in community; Application Interviews with the representatives of domestic groups. Phase III: Theory and Practice joint - processing and analysis of data. As for results, it was observed that the riparian Village Darcy community have a particular way of life and a relationship of respect and synergy with nature. The creation of Maués FOREST caused major impacts on the modus vivendi of riparian already in the implementation process. In terms of socio-cultural impacts, bordering suffered restrictions in their usual activities in the communities, as hunting, gathering, fishing and agriculture. As for the impact on political organization, It analyzed that there was a decrease in political organizations in Vila Darcy, one Since it is only recognized by the managers of Maués FOREST, organizations formally organized. The study aims to produce technical knowledge and scientific in line with the social, cultural and political needs of riverside communities to subsidize the formulation of public policies compatible with the Amazonian reality; advocacy to the territory of those people contributing, thus, for the socio-cultural sustainability in the Amazon and the effectiveness of citizenship of the riparian people.
