Diagnóstico da estrutura urbana e da área de preservação permanente (APP) em uma ocupação desordenada na zona leste da cidade de Manaus, Amazonas

Abstract

With the process of urban expansion spurred by population growth and development of productive and commercial activities, among other factors, have brought many problems to cities and their populations. As a consequence of inadequate planning of land use, this expansion has produced a degraded urban environment, with great influence on the quality of life of the population, the main constraints of this disorderly occupation demographic and socioeconomic determinants. In this sense, we studied the structure of an urban area in the East Zone disorderly occupation of the city of Manaus. The selected areas were communities Jorge Teixeira 3rd stage, Bairro Novo, Arthur Virgílio Neto and João Paulo, members of the Urban Design Unit UES (neighborhood) Jorge Teixeira, as Urban Environmental Master Plan of 2008 the city of Manaus. For the analysis and implementation of research, management and tabulation of the data for manipulation of the registration information and spatial attributes, we used the standardization of shapefile files (Shp), the software used were the ArcGis 9.3 and Spring 4.1, GIS tools , used the digital map of the urban area of Manaus, gerreferenciado in geographic projection systems DATUM SAD 69, and Quickbird satellite images aerophotogrammetric 2008 and 2010. The study communities were visited spot in the second half of 2007. The results show similar characteristics to one with the other due to lack of planning and structuring and planning for construction of homes, shops, streets, water supply systems, network systems, sanitary sewer collection and industrial trash collection. Lots of four communities in the study did not meet the guidelines of retreat and leaves the sides of the streets axles, distance between the neighboring lots, maximum building area, area for permeabilization, and consequently, the area of blocks and lots intended for different urban activities , and even industrial trades, disobeying the Master Plan Environmental and Urban Manaus. It follows that in the communities studied, by its geographical position and strategic situations present environmental conditions characterized by natural and man-made, natural reality of the current scenario of the Neighborhood.
