Resumo
The Amazon region presents a vast biodiversity, but little studied. This project aims to analyze the species Aspidosperma nitidum (Benth) belonging to the family Apocynaceae, commonly known in the north of the country as carapanaúba, due to harboring carapanã in their covers. Therefore, this work aims to contribute to the phytochemical study as well as biological assays of the extracts, fractions and substances isolated from the branches, leaves and barks of the species A. nitidum. The extracts were obtained by successive maceration at room temperature with different solvents, which were submitted to classical and modern chromatographic methods, as well as to spectroscopic and spectroscopic methods (Mass Spectrometer, Nuclear Magnetic Resonance, Infrared and UV Region Absorption Spectroscopy -visible). Thus, it was possible to identify four indole alkaloids, two of which were not yet reported in the species, carapanaubine and deoxycordifoline, as well as the known harmano carboxylic acid and 3α, 20β-10-Methoxy-18,19-dihydrocorinanteol. This work also evaluated the antioxidant activity, obtaining good results for the methanolic extracts, fractions of the partition, chloroform and hydroalcoholic phases and for isolated substance carapanaubina. It has been found that the methanolic and aqueous extracts of the barks of the present study present moderate inhibition potential of acetylcholinesterase as well as the isolated substance carapanaubine, a promising substance in the studies of new drug syntheses. However, for the substance desoxycordifoline, it is necessary that there be more isolation of the same, so that its test is reworked, since in the literature it reports its high potential which could not be confirmed in this work. It was also found that the chloroform phase and the substance carapanaubina presented promising cytotoxic activity with values of IC50 < 40µg/mL.
