This study it has as objective generality to diagnosis the traces of the market structure and the competitive state of the shipyards of Manaus essential. Therefore, in particular, it is aimed at: a) To identify and to analyze the total sum of the financial resources of the Deep one of Merchant Navy - FMM, applied to the Naval Sector of Manaus. b) To analyze the competitive state of the Industry, in structural and conjunctural terms, rank that the prosperity of a company is resulted of the best combination with productive efficiency (saw costs) and managemental efficiency (it saw profit) for the good production; c) To identify and to analyze the existing barriers, capable to impose conditions to the entrance of a new company in the industry, which contributes for the concentration; d) Mensurar the degree of market concentration aiming at to define the market parcel that fits to each company (shipyard) in the industry. The reference landmark guideline in the premises of the economic theory with focus in the transformations of the structure of market, oligopoly, barriers to the entrance, condicionantes and determinative concentration of market, factors of the growth of a company. E, the conceptual question of competitiveness with focus in the structural and conjunctural factors of the industry, whose, structural changes of efficiency occur, first, back in the soil of the plant of the company, fulfilling the levels of territorial aggregation: place, regional, national and international, in a process of inside for is.
