Resumo

The productive sector of timber and timber in the Amazon is facing great difficulties to make their products very demanded in the market, due to outdated technology infrastructure, undercapitalised moveleiras units, Woods uses without certification, unskilled labor and industrial organization, everything has contributed this low competition framework. The furniture sector of the Parintins city began more significantly in the decade of the 1980s, when several small joinery producing custom. This is the prevailing standard model to the present day. Many of them working in the informal sector, producing furniture by hand without innovation and outstanding design, so that makes it impossible to penetrate the most demanding markets. Given this situation, this study aims to diagnose the problems that contribute to the low performance of movelarias in the city of Parintins. In the specific plan aims to: a) identify indicators that portray the limitations and low productive performance; b) to propose a strategic organization strategy for movelarias Parintins. The global mobile industry was and is composed predominantly of small businesses, which, until the 1950s, aimed to respond almost exclusively to the domestic market of the respective countries. The analysis methodology involved at first conduct a data collection to meet the specific objectives. Data on the structure of movelarias, number of employees, prospects, limiting factors, monthly income, form of activity of learning, types of produtos.Com on these data it was possible to make some relationships between low performance and the factors that determine it. The results show that the furniture activity Parintins there are a number of barriers which hinder the development of this activity highlighting among others, poor logistics, lack of investments in government at the local, state and federal levels, lack of tax incentives for owners of movelarias, lack of professional training courses which allow the formation of labor-skilled workers to work in the production of furniture and credit lines to enterprises established in the region, environmental legislation that is often contradictory and inhibit initiatives of movelarias. As conclusion we emphasize that there is an urgent need to establish measures to minimize the problems encountered and that leverage the furniture sector of the city in order to contribute to the generation of employment and income in the region
