Riscos ergonômicos e psicossociais: um estudo com motoristas de ônibus da cidade de Manaus

Abstract

This work is a reflection about the work and health of bus drivers, impacted by exposure to ergonomic and psychosocial risks, based on the city of Manaus. The work deals highlight the lives of human beings since the beginning of mankind until the present. It is an activity developed by the individual in order to meet their needs. However, the construction of forging a working relationship, which may be beneficial or not for the employee and the organization. From these relationships the health of the worker is to reflect the condition set. In the case of bus drivers are exposed to poor conditions of work, thus, seek to survive by creating defensive strategies, justified by the psychodynamics of work and rules of conduct that may be built able to bear the pain without getting sick. The current legislation on the health of the worker performs key role in the development of standards and rules of safety. With them there is increasing concern about the prevention of accidents and sick leaves from work. In order to examine the relationship between the work process and the occupational hazards experienced by bus drivers in the city of Manaus, were documentary analysis, semi-structured interviews and observations with non-participating bus drivers, collectors, leaders of the company participant and with users of public transport. Were adverse conditions for the implementation of the work of the driver associated with ergonomic hazards with respect to work shift, poor posture, hygiene, noise, temperature, location for food and personal hygiene. From the point of view there is a prevalence of psychosocial symptoms of occupational stress, as demonstrated by the anger, bigotry and difficulty in interpersonal relationships. The study also showed that growth of the city of Manaus, especially at the deployment of the Manaus Free Zone, provided great development for the company, however, growth and disorderly without planning directly impacted the daily lives of people. Including unsatisfactory conditions of shelter, health, education and movement. Also generated the need for adaptation and expansion of road network in the city until the present day
