Análise mecânica da incorporação da fibra de bambu (B. vulgaris ‘Vittata’) em matriz geopolimérica

Resumo

In the search for new technological solutions for application in civil construction, this study produced geopolymeric slabs with the addition of bamboo fiber Bambusa vulgaris var. ‘Vittata’ as well as characterized its properties and analyzed the physical and mechanical characteristics that the fiber / matrix set are capable of producing as well as the effect of the immersion treatment of bamboo fibers was analyzed before its use as a reinforcement in the geopolymeric matrix. For the characterization of the bamboo fiber its contents of extractives, lignin, holocellulose and alpha cellulose were analyzed as well as its moisture content (The following results were revealed: Moisture (9.78), Ash (0.77), Extracts (0.89) , Lignin (15.10), Holocellulose (64.95), Alfacellulose (70.91). In the geopolymer analysis, the X-ray fluorescence (FRX) and the X-ray diffraction (DRX) of the precursor materials were analyzed. in addition to strength tests with compression and flexion loads as well as the ability to seal the plates through the permeability test. Promising results were identified both in the characterization of the fibers, confirming their reinforcing power as well as their applicability as reinforcement in the geopolymeric matrix having a flexural strength gain that increased from 1.2 MPa in the case of the fiber-free matrix to 5.6 MPa in the matrix with the addition of 10% bamboo fiber.
