Resumo
Near Tunuí Missão, in the extreme NW of Amazonas, Rio Negro Province, were recognized granitic rocks, individualized based on criteria petrographic/textural and chemical (whole rock and mineral chemistry) in: biotite granite, muscovite biotite granite and muscovite leucogranite. The muscovite leucogranites are subordinate and occur as a pluton of 10 km2 in the western portion of the study area, intruders in Tunuí Group metasediments. Rocks are inequigranular texture medium to coarse, sometimes pegmatitic, isotropic, but when reworked by shear zone show up foliated with preferential orientation given by the plates of muscovite and biotite, according to general direction NE-SW. The mineralogy of these rocks is composed of plagioclase zoned with core oligoclase (An10-18) and rim of albite (An2-3), potassium feldspar, primary muscovite, biotite (annite-siderophyllite) of peraluminous magma, garnet and tourmaline. The rocks are strongly peraluminous character, typical of type S granites. Geochronological data U-Pb zircon indicated an age of 1,52 ± 26 Ga for the crystallization of these rocks. The muscovite biotite granites have inequigranular texture fine to medium, medium to coarse sometimes. Rarely are isotropic and when reworked the shear zone given foliation by
exhibit preferred orientation of mafic second NNE-SSW. Sometimes ghosts structures are
preserved, like folds with axial plane attitude of 330 ° / subvertical. These rocks are
composition dominantly monzogranitic and are characterized by mineral association
composed of andesitic plagioclase zoned core (An30-39) and rim of the albite (An8), potassium feldspar, biotite (annite-siderophyllite), primary muscovite and epidote with texturally primary core allanite. The muscovite biotite granites are metaluminous to slightly
peraluminous rocks with normative corundum (> 1%) in the samples more peraluminous. Age crystallization U-Pb zircon obtained from 1.81 ± 18 Ma. Its likely source is the paragneisses Group Tunuí. The biotite granites rocks occurring broader and are distributed in the northern and southwestern portions of the study area, intrusive in Tunuí Group metasedimentary rocks. Have inequigranular medium to coarse texture, generally isotropic, but when reworked by shear zone show NE-SW orientation. Porphyritic rocks are also found with preferred orientation of phenocrysts ripiformes feldspar up to 5 cm, the second direction 130 ° / subvertical, which indicates flow magmatic. Compositionally are classified as monzogranites with plagioclase composition dominantly oligoclase (An21-26), potassium feldspar, biotite (annite-siderophyllite), calcium amphibole (edenite), titanite and epidote texturally primary core with or without allanite. Show affinity with the calc-alkaline series of high-K, metaluminous to slightly peraluminous character. The main differentiation process responsible for the generation of biotite granite is the fractional crystallization. These granites crystallized under conditions of high oxygen fugacity marked by the assembly: titanite + magnetite and quartz, and termobarometry from the pair amphibole - plagioclase and Al in the hornblende provide crystallisation conditions of 797 º C and 4.8 kbar. We obtained acrystallization age of 1,82 ± 13 Ma U-Pb for the biotite granites.
The diversity of granitic rocks near Tunuí Missão can be attributed to the occurrence
of two orogenies, Cauaburi and Içana. The Paleoproterozoic magmatism intenses, generating the calc-alkaline granites (biotite granite) and the first generation of the type S granites (muscovite biotite granite), are probably related to Cauaburi Orogeny. The second generation of type S granites (muscovite leucogranites) is possibly attributed to Içana Orogeny.
