Políticas públicas em unidades de conservação urbanas: o caso do Parque Estadual Sumaúma

Abstract

This dissertation aims at to identify of the Conservation Units within the urban perimeter of Manaus. Therefore, it was intended to highlight some surveys as: documents at regularization of UC´s social issues of the surrounding community (housing, health and sanitation issues), reviewing the use of natural resources. It is expected that this manuscript has as main focus in the study at Sumaúma State Park, but it was made a brief search of some environmental protected areas in Manaus to have a vision of developing these. The areas studied were: Samaúma State Park, Park of Mindu, east of Mindú, the Ecological Corridor Mindú, Adolpho Ducke Botanical Garden, the RDS Tupé, Ecological Reserve Sauim of Coleira, Private Reserve of Moto Honda. In that sense it was possible to identify whether consolidation of units of Urban Conservation of Manaus-AM is dependent on public policies and its influence in relation society / nature between the inhabitants of the city.
