Resumo

The principal objective of this thesis is to investigate how the Apurinã people understand and interpret the historicity or ancestrality of their territory and of the landscapes where they live from their mythical and historic narratives, songs and rituals. The other objective is to demonstrate how the conceptions of these people about landscape and their relations with non-humans with whom they cohabit and constitute these landscapes are governed by the sensitive and kinship logic. In the last chapter these questions are studied from an ethnographic view, specially the way that Apurinã understand and have a relationship with the « Brazilian nut forests », one of the Amazon landscape which is an emblematic one due to their ancestral link with the forest people.
