Proposta de modelo de turismo industrial para o parque fabril na Zona Franca de Manaus

Abstract

Manaus has its tourist potential focused on natural wonders the Amazon region, but also has a modern and little-explored industrial centre as an attraction. This research developed an industrial tourism model for the city's industrial park, integrated into the local tourism system, which includes elements of Industry 4.0 as a differential in the itinerary for visits to factories In the scientific literature, specific attributes of industrial tourism were identified, and a matrix was structured to assess the intensity of the offer of these attributes, adapted for a survey. The target audience consisted of 40 stakeholders involved in the visitation process. As a result, an average score of 3.46 was obtained, on a scale of 1 to 5. This matrix proved to be a useful tool in the modeling process, subject to adaptations for other applications. A case study was also carried out on the Zona Franca de Portas Abertas project, coordinated by the Superintendence of the Zona Franca de Manaus (Suframa), with the monitoring of six test visits, and analysis of the results of a satisfaction survey, which resulted in an average score of 4 .38 points, on a scale of 1 to 5. The research adopted a systemic approach, tools and methods of Production Engineering for the planning and management of tourism, highlighting the multicriteria methods of constructive decision support (MCDA-c) and the hierarchization of attributes (AHP). The proposed model was considered feasible and could serve as a reference for other locations. The research also identified an opportunity to apply R,D&I resources to encourage new investments in tourism.
