Visões de mundo : uma etnografia do fazer arqueológico no Paço da Liberdade - Manaus - AM

Abstract

This research analyze the multiple worldviews and voices represented in the discourses that were confronted on the archeology in the Paço da Liberdade from the interdisciplinary approach between anthropology and archeology, correlating the theoretical paradigms that point as object of study archeological practices, that culminated in an exhibition of the archeology in the basement of a room of the building, that in this work I propose to conceptualize like archaeological musealization in situ. Based on an ethnography of the archaeological work, the research anchors on the configurations between the agency of the material culture and the unfolding of this process between the different agents implied in the local discourse, as the reflection of the actions that have been focused on the policy of preservation of the Cultural heritage in the city and the network of relations that involve the political - cultural context, especially the agency and confrontation of ethnic minority groups, represented in this research by the Coordination of Indigenous Organizations of the Brazilian Amazon – COIAB and FEPI.
