Resumo

This study aimed to analyze the inclusive education policy implementation Assistive Technology resources to enable the participation and learning of students with disabilities in school. Assistive technology is an interdisciplinary field of knowledge encompassing resources, products, services, methodologies, strategies, practices and services that aim to feature, related to the activity and the person's involvement with disabilities, reduced disability or mobility with a view to their autonomy, independence, quality of life and social inclusion. It is a qualitative research of documentary and bibliographic analysis. Served as analyzed in legal and policy documents, international, national, state, municipal, specific policies that deal with the rights of persons with disabilities and the Pedagogical Political Project of a municipal school in Manaus. Data analysis was performed using thematic content analysis, which had as its guiding principles the positioning of policies analyzed about the use of the resources of assistive technology at school, the relationship between resource use of Assistive Technology and school inclusion of students physically disabled and coherence of the pedagogical project of a public school in Manaus with the guidelines of the studied legal mechanisms. The survey results point to the presence of information on legal and policy documents in the different levels of coverage about the importance of the availability of assistive technology resources at school, the presence of relationship between the use of assistive technology resources and the process of school inclusion of students with disabilities and the lack of information about the accessibility of Assistive Technology resources in the research school. This indicates advances while drawbacks as regards the implementation Assistive Technology resources in school.
