Habilidades sociais de adolescentes com provável Transtorno do Desenvolvimento da Coordenação: um estudo à luz da educação inclusiva

Resumo

Studies on social skills have great relevance, especially, involving adolescents with pDCD so that we know how the school can intervene in order to offer an inclusive education to them. Thus, our general objective was to characterize the social skills of adolescents with pDCD in the Amazon context. Our specific objectives were to describe the characteristics of the ability to empathize / affect, responsibility, self-control and / or civility and assertiveness of adolescents with pDCD. 17 adolescents, 11 girls and 6 boys, aged between 11 and 13 years and 11 months old, who were identified with probable BDD through MABC-2, from three schools of Amazonas, from the 6th to the 8th year of Elementary School II. We use as an instrument the Inventory of Social Skills, Behavior Problems and Academic Competence - SSRS from the student's point of view. To verify the normality of the data, we used the Shapiro Wilk test. This study characterized the formation of the (1) low levels; (2) medium; (3) good; (4) tall and (5) elaborate social skills. We concluded that few adolescents had satisfactory levels, the vast majority had low and medium repertoire in at least two or three specific skills. The promotion of social skills is indispensable for adolescents with pDCD and, therefore, we suggest the inclusion of social skills as objectives of the teaching and learning process of these adolescents, which requires pedagogical, psychological and motor intervetion.
