Entre memórias: as experiências dos carregadores e carregadoras da Manaus Moderna e Estação Hidroviária de Manaus (Roadway) 1993-2015

Abstract

This paper aims to describle the experiences of the loaders working-class of the Manaus Waterway Station Port (known as Roadway) and also the Manaus Moderna Port, both established in Manaus city, Downtown. Without intending to exhaust the theme, it directs to understand the relationships built among these workers in the Union and outside it, besides their multiple forms of sociability and conclicts. The chosen time period is place in the neoliberal (1993-2015), in which there was the Roadway port restructuring from private companies concessions to rearrange the port area and series of designs for Manaus Moderna Port, analyzing the labor legislation that little has supported the workers from Manaus Port.
