Abstract

"Born in the Bosom of Society": Racialization and interbreeding among workers in the Province of Amazonas is an attempt from the key concepts of racialization and mestizaje, dialoguing with theoretical contributions of social history, the world of work and slavery, understand how the workers of Amazonas Province (1850-1889) built survival strategies, relationships, social tensions and rising over the eighteen hundreds.
