Uma proposta de aplicação de Business Intelligence no sistema educacional brasileiro

Resumo

Currently, at the height of the information age, many technologies have been developed, including the one highlighted in this research: BI, a system with several resources in Drill Down format, create visualizations in the form of dashboards in an integrated and intelligent way. This research sought to apply the use of Business Intelligence in data from the Brazilian educational system made available by INEP. The research problem refers to what contributions and challenges when using BI in data related to the Brazilian educational system. Therefore, to answer this question, it was necessary to achieve the objective of developing data access interfaces related to Brazilian education based on data provided by INEP using Business Intelligence software. The methodology used in this work was an applied study with exploratory and descriptive objectives, having as a quantitative strategy and bibliographic procedures and case study, in this case, the Brazilian educational system. The developed tool obtained satisfactory results, generating graphics and interactive information, helping in the dissemination of information, in decision-making, making room for the application of more advanced techniques such as data mining.
