Avaliação de riscos sanitários nas embarcações do estado do Amazonas: propositura de medidas de controle e regulamentação

Abstract

The current study aims to analyze the sanitary risks of river vessels in the state of Amazonas and venture correct measures to the evaluation and management. From the dynamic perspective of river vessels on Amazon and the impacts of this activity in aquatic environments suggests that a dimension of complexity of a thematic that signify a challenging problem at a regional level and of interest to Ambiental science. The vast quantity of boat that navigate through the Amazon region, this reinforces the importance of the sanitary control, the preventive care and effective sanitary measures can mitigate the associated risks, by consequence of outbreaks that may result in a public health emergency. The research was developed in a methodologic exploratorydescriptive of qualitative nature in river vessels of Manaus and Barcelos, Amazonas, Brazil. The procedure of collecting data involved the utilization of checklist, based in the sanitary legislation, in the vessels in question. The study was realized in 32 vessels, in the period of march to November 2019. The data of the research were submitted to a simple descriptive analysis and of correlation done through the statistic program R to calculation in absolute and relative frequency. The results indicated that the IRSEF was utilized, and it was efficient to evaluate the conditions and even if the results in an overview were low risks the actions are necessary to the improvement of good practices of food manipulation and in systems of drinking water and climatization. The second article aimed to analyze the current regulation and propose the specifics sanitary requirements to regional vessels in the Amazon region. The results also shown that half of the items in RDC 72/2009 are applicable to river vessels, and two of the nine points rated did not present viability to the application. It was presented a specific instrument and adapted to rate the sanitary conditions in river vessels and suggesting further studies to validate this sanitary script, with possibility of implementation by ANVISA. The third and last article appoint the impact of preventing actions, proposes a control to the risk management of river vessels in Amazon region, were indicated that the necessity of improvement in the condition of drinkable water in vessels, the necessity to adopt an alternate system to detect retention and the necessity of reviewing the actual legislation or the formulation of a new standard specific to river vessels.
