Estudo do mobiliário urbano: proposta de abrigo de parada de ônibus adequado às características climáticas e de identidade da cidade de Manaus

Abstract

Bus stop shelters have become important instruments of qualification of public space, attracting people to the open spaces of the city. Historical events and the advancement of technologies motivated the transformation of the modes of transport and, consequently, the integrated systems of these shelters, as well as their aesthetics and functionality. Its evolution happened mainly from the needs demonstrated during its use over time by its users. It is in this context that the objective of this dissertation is to elaborate a set of bus stop shelter for the city of Manaus, according to the local cultural aspects, its climatic peculiarities and urban structure. The research is characterized as bibliographical, documentary and exploratory, as it was elaborated from studies already published and public documents, as well as field observation visits; interpretation of the data presented and the quantitative survey of the object studied. As a design method, the one proposed by Bonsiepe (1989) was used and, to meet the general objective of the work, analyzes were carried out directed to the state and functioning of the product as the ergonomic study, synochronic and diachronic analysis, user activity analysis, etc. The FEAP tool (Ferroli and Librelloto, 2016) helped in choosing the alternative to be developed as a product proposal from parameters created through the GUT Matrix. Finally, it was possible to create a set of shelters based on the basic needs of users of public transport and space, as well as regional characteristics attached to them.
