Resumo
This research brings some reflections about the regularities of the development of the oral
language of the children with zero to three years old (according to the Historic-Cultural
Theory), about the perception of the teachers from the kindergarten on the importance of
the pedagogical practices in the development of the oral language of the children and the
influence of the communication set between the teacher and the children. It makes us think
specifically about the scenery in a kindergarten in the city of Manaus. This paper presents
as its general objective to understand the relation between the dialogue set among the
teachers and the children and the development of the oral language in the pedagogical
practice of the crèche. It is a qualitative research where we used as methodological
procedures: the bibliographical research, the participant observations, the auto-analysis
through short videos and the semi-structured interviews. By the readings, the dialogues, the
classes and the orientations, we also try to notice and understand the crèche inside of a
political movement that brings issues as the formation and the valorization of the teacher’s
work, the role of the crèche and its concepts of children and childhood that are present in
the teacher’s practice. The results of the investigation are: the necessity of making possible
to the children the speech in the school context, taking into consideration what they say and
face the dialogical challenges, giving continuity to the thought presented by them,
questioning them and making them think deeply the themes approached. Furthermore, we
highlight the necessity of the educators to deepen their knowledge on the importance of
their pedagogical actions in the development of the children’s language and thought,
making possible to create a space for communication and a more participant and relevant
one. We believe to be necessary to consolidate the children’s autonomy and initiative, as
well as the teachers’ sensibility about the importance of the dialogues (even the small
ones), about the necessity of deepening the knowledge on children’s development in the
first childhood and find other significances of the practicing by a continuing formation in
service.
