Atuação governamental do setor de agropecuária e pesca no estado do Amazonas

Abstract

The present work has as its object of study the relationship between government agencies involved in the agricultural and fisheries sector from the geographical and territorial management points of view and its performance in the State of Amazonas, exemplified by federal and state agencies located in the Amazonas, in particular the SEPROR and the Superintendence of Agriculture and their respective authorities. The research objective is to have an understanding of the process of how the state operates on the primary sector taking into account not only the political and economic aspects, but also the aspect of operational management, which is dynamic and varies according to the organs involved in this theme. In that sense, we present at first the theoretical and chronological processes that influenced the way the State conceives and manages the rural and fishing sectors and we need to understand this mechanism to further understand the formation and organization of the government structure in the sector of agriculture and fishing, showing how the state manages this area, according to their demands and interests and how this planning conception coincides in some cases with the market, exemplified by agribusiness, analyzing how these public bodies can fit in direct or indirect management of the rural sector over time and its insertion in society.
