Resumo
The research presents the communication of science in the covers of
magazines, constituting from a relational reading, with the objective of
understanding how the visual language constructed by the editorial design can
make possible the generation of meanings in sketches of attractor movements,
constituted by Systems. It can be affirmed that the results of these semiotic and
systemic movements provide, to a certain extent, the expansion of
contemporary scientific culture, considering the relations of the languages
contained in their visual representations. The present study is methodologically
delineated as a qualitative, descriptive and exploratory research, based on
theoretical precepts regarding the research developed from the approach of
Complex and Ecosystemic Thinking. More specifically, we seek to organize a
dialogue between the assumptions of Vogt (2006), Kunzler (2004), Prigogine
(1996), Lipovetsky (1996) and Luhmann (1999), with the knowledge of editorial
design, seen here as a space for understanding Of science, in a system of
visuality that proposes us reflections about the forms of expression and
communication of science. With this vision, we consider not only the process of
meaning of science, but also the expansion of this culture of scientific
communication as a social and autopoietic operation developed within a
network and capable of reproducing itself.
