Análise do fluxo e distribuição espacial das espécies de ortofosfato na região da cidade de Manaus (AM)

Abstract

The phosphorus is crucial in screening to validate key findings of the bodies of water. There were samples collections of watershed that cross the city of Manaus, in periods of flood and drought, with the aim of studying the species orthophosphate in the city of Manaus. The concentrations of orthophosphate were determined during the periods of drought and flood by the molybdate method. To calculate the species of orthophosphate (H3PO4, H2PO4-, HPO42- e PO43-) the mathematical model based on the diagrams of distribution was used, having as variables of the orthophosphate and pH. The data obtained from these calculations were subjected to geostatistical interpolation method to observe the spatial behavior of these variables in surface waters of the city of Manaus. The concentration of the total orthophosphate had the main feature, a high variability between periods of drought and flood with minimum and maximum values from 0.04 to 39.1, and 0.03 to 4.73 mg L-1, respectively. The results from the mathematical model applied to pH values with a range from 5.32 to 7.44 (drought) and 4.90 to 7.10 (flood) showed that the species H2PO4- e HPO42- prevailed in all urban areas of Manaus. The semi-variograms of the drought and flood showed great variability among species H2PO4- e HPO42-, whose mobility is directly related to the pH, and being the anthropogenic factor in the distribution.
