Comando de cadeira de rodas motorizada por fusão de informações de Eye Tracker e BCI

Resumo

Currently the literature presents a lot of ways to command a motorized wheelchair. Some of them aim to specialization, others prefer working in generic solutions such that become popular and enable the mass production. In fact, we are still a little far from a standard solution because there are a wide variety of physical conditions that some good solutions to one person is unsuited and cause discomfort to another. Those variety of requirements is more complex to overcome in a country like ours in development, where the motorized wheelchair is not a popular technology and its cost turn the acquisition difficult for most of those potential users. This work is a part of the specialized solutions, which is an option that can be used by people with severe disabilities. With an intuitive graphical interface and meaningful color visual feedback on a daily basis, it is provided system that enables the command of a motorized wheelchair using Eye Tracker as the dominant input and simple confirmations via Brain-Computer Interface (BCI), both commercial devices, in which is possible to achieve the reliability rate close to 95%.
