Pescando saberes: das águas ao ensino interdisciplinar na calha do Rio Solimões

Resumo

The research seeks to understand how fishing activity in the Solimões River channel can contribute to interdisciplinary education, between environmental knowledge and scientific (disciplinary) knowledge, in the management of territories and natural resources from contextualized learning that allows recognition, critical analysis and citizen intervention in society. For this, the conceptual categories of Environmental Knowledge, Territory and Territorialities, Resource Management and Common Goods are used, based on environmental governance studies, these categories will help answer whether contextualized teaching- learning methodologies for environmental sciences collaborate to mitigate conflicts and manage socio-environmental territories in areas of fishing activity. The research followed the qualitative method with a case study in two cities, Manacapuru and Tefé, located in the Solimões River Region. The methodological procedures adopted were bibliographic survey, application of form via virtual link by Google Forms and virtual semi-structured interviews on Google Meet to the group of interlocutors to identify challenges and understandings, lived histories and academic experiences, of teachers, students and high school students of the technical course of Fishing Resource of IFAM - Campus Manacapuru. The contextualization from the systematization of environmental knowledge and theories allowed the construction of the didactic product presented as a board game entitled "Fishing knowledge", a tool of easy access and use applicable in the school environment and in the various realities of traditional Amazonian communities. After the construction of the prototype of the game, we carried out a test phase at another research site in the municipality of Tefé, AM. This new location was chosen by the socio-environmental characteristics of historical relationship with fishing activity. Then, the validation phase returned to the subjects of IFAM - Manacapuru. Thus, the expected results include the adoption of the interdisciplinary tool; self-management of natural resources and territories; sustainable practice in amazonian lowland environments. This paper presents an Introduction with the methodological path for its construction, chapters one, two and three discuss the conceptual bases of Environmental Knowledge, Environmental Complexity, contextization of Fishing and Interdisciplinarity, in addition to the theme of Games in Education and, finally, we present the Educational Product in the form of a board game entitled "Fishing for Knowledge". The results and analyses indicate a positive experience of the methodology adopted and present feasibility of replicability, adaptation, reproduction in other contexts that require the interdisciplinary approach to contextualize the socio-environmental problem experienced at the local, regional, national and global scales.
