Inovações tecnológicas como fator de competitividade para empresas de construção civil em Manaus

Abstract

Companies located in the industrial pole of Manaus, in general, had in recent years significant progress in technological and managerial. There is, however, that such change is not occurring at the same levels in the construction industry. Nevertheless, it is possible that there are gradually adopting technological innovations, by the construction companies, mainly in sub-sector buildings. It is understood that the widespread adoption of technological innovations in this subsector may contribute to improved performance of this industry segment, providing resources that enhace their competitiveness with respect to cost factors, productivity, waste and quality. Considering these gains, through the present study, we sought to understand the factors that contribute to the low level of adoption of technological innovations in the subsector buildings in the city of Manaus. The study identified the technological innovations that are being effectively used and also the barriers and facilitators, from a business perspective, associated with these. Furthermore, an analysis was performed around the current situation, identifying the actions, cooperation between enterprises, supporting institutions that encourage and promote the development of production, technological development, leading to competitiveness.
